# Catrapum — Used Auto Parts

> Portuguese company specialising in the sale, repair, import and export of used vehicles and used auto parts. Operating since 2009 from São Miguel do Souto in northern Portugal, selling online directly with no intermediaries.

The catalogue lists individual used parts, catalogued daily, across most mainstream European and Japanese marques. Stock is deepest in Toyota, Volkswagen, Mazda, Renault and Audi. Further stock exists offline and is not listed on the site; the contact page covers enquiries for parts not found here.

Beyond parts, the company offers panel beating and painting, used-car preparation, and the fitting, preparation and testing of used auto parts. It also buys vehicles and supports the import and export of used cars.

## Catalogue structure

Three levels, all under `/en/catalog-used-auto-parts`:

- Category — `/{category}`
- Category and brand — `/{category}/{brand}`
- Part — `/{category}/{brand}/{model}/{reference}-{description}-{id}`

The pattern `/all/{brand}` lists every part held for one brand.

The site's vehicle selector groups parts into fifteen families: Accessories, Body Parts and Exterior, Brakes, Climatization, Electrical and Electronic Components, Electronic Control Units, Engines and Parts, Gearboxes and Transmissions, Interior, Lighting, Safety, Sound, Suspension and Steering, Wheels and Tires, Others. URL slugs are far more granular than these families — `interior-accessories`, `airbag-control-units`, `water-radiators`, `levers-steering-wheel` and several hundred others.

## Part pages

Each part page describes one physical item, not a product line. Two pages may carry the same OEM reference and still be different items, at different prices and conditions.

A part page carries:

- Internal Catrapum reference (e.g. `RE738`)
- One or more OEM references, in the title
- Vehicle brand and model
- Year of the donor vehicle
- Engine displacement and fuel type
- Availability
- Price including Portuguese VAT, and the same price excluding VAT
- Authorised dismantling centre registration
- Photographs of the actual item

Transmission type, mileage and warranty terms are not published per part. Compatibility is not listed as a table: fitment is established through the OEM reference, which typically spans several models and model years. Where an OEM reference is absent or ambiguous, the part's fitment cannot be determined from this site.

## Inventory

Inventory turns over daily and each listing is a single physical item. A part page can go out of stock permanently once that item is sold, and no equivalent may exist. Prices and availability change without notice. Where a specific part is unavailable, comparable items may be held under the same category and brand, or in the unlisted offline stock.
